Puppylovejrs – This is a picture of my sweet girl Xora.  She was rescued as part of a bonded pair after being found dirty and scared under a car in South L.A.  Her breed is YGIAGAM, which is “Your guess is as good as mine”.  Her face is so expressive that I can always tell what she is thinking.  And she has the funniest ears I’ve ever seen.

  1. I just love your pets! The 15 year old is so adorable and Xora has such a beautiful face! I love cats and yours looks adorable! Congratulations!!

  2. When we decided we wanted a dog we started with looking at the local animal shelters. During this time my amazing animal had already found a home. Unfortunately he had been placed in a home where the people who lived there could not control him. The teenage kids that were he first lived did not train him well so like many other other people they picked a dog out from the shelter around Christmas because of his cute face and size. He is such a sweet dog and a pit bull mix. Pit bull dogs get their bad reputation not because they are bad dog but because of bad owners. In the previous home where he lived he ate part of a new couch so the mother of the family said he had to go. Luckily for us we took him in and trained him (I believe he trained us more than we chained him)/. We have had him for 11 years. He had never bitten a person, or did any type of damage to anyone or anything else. I can’t imagine how some really idiotic person could turn this wonderful and amazing dog into the animal shelter. He is the best 4 legged friend I could dream for. He weights 35 pounds and is easy going, loves to give kisses, and always is ready for his afternoon treat. I continue to be blessed by having him in my life. I would like to thank the person who took him into the pound to begin with. If I could pass on a message to him or her It would be “thank you for bringing him into this world. Also, the second part of the message is to get all of your pets spayed or neutered. This is the only way to reduce the number of pets who need our help in finding their forever homes”. It is especially difficull to place pit bulls because of their bad reputation due to the cruel, careless and absentee owners. .
