vmebane62457 – Bella is a friendly pit and enjoys playing with kids. She’s a very protected dog. It’s so funny, when she has to go to the bathroom. When we ask her, she barks and looks at the door.
Bella had been abused and treated very poorly. When we got her, you could count her ribs and the guy had put a big chain around her neck. in which had put sores around her neck. She was in a cold garage and no cover on the floor.
When we got her, we put a blanket on my couch and that’s were she laid until we could buy a bed. My husband made a mistake in giving her a potato chip and every time she hears the sound of a chip bag, here she comes and will sit in front of you until you give her some. We love Bella and she knows it. She celebrated her birthday July 4 and we got her own bag of chips and dog ice cream.
corkie65 – These are 2 of my babies. The Yorkshire terrier is Missyblue and she is 13 years old. The chihuahua is Ashly and she was 12 years old. She passed away 4 months ago and I miss her so much. Both dogs were rescues dogs, and they have been with us for about 10 years now. Recently we got 2 new rescue dogs. I think everyone should look into getting a rescue dog. They are so loving and need homes. Hope you like my babies
isabelmft – Here’s my sweet, adorable, lovable Zoey. The first picture is how she looked when I first adopted her from a rescue last September (2013). I was told she was severely abused, and she was so scared, it took me two days to be able to pick her up. Who could ever hurt this sweet puppy? The other photos are how she looks today. She now loves to play, chase cats and birds, and guard me and her new home. I, playfully, call her “my undercover pit bull”. I feel truly blessed to be her new mom and she has filled my life with lots of love and laughter. Zoey is everything I hoped for (and more) and I am so glad I adopted her. I highly encourage others to adopt too – there are so many animals that need good homes and love and who will return that love every day – just like Zoey.
