        • As the person above I have tried to follow your directions and still find your clues obscure. You told the other person to tell you what they tried. So I’ve tried MVO monkey the “d” word and numerous combinations from the second article The Oodletorial: Player Services and have had no success. Am I missing another clue? When you say that the answer should be found in – “The second article in the search window has the promo code you’re looking for.”

        • I have tried it several times and cannot get the code. Guess I am too old to be playing these games. Please just give me the code, I could use the oodles. Thanks.

          • Since it’s a hunt I can’t give you the code, but I can help. I assume you tried searching for the ‘d” word? Let’s do this instead. Click here for the search window you get when searching for “daffodil.”

Once you’ve opened the search window, click on the last article in the search window Scroll down in the search window if you need to. It’s another Oodletorial below “Oodletorial: How to Search. Once you see it, CLICK on the title of the article to fully open it.

Click on the title of that Oodletorial to open it all the way. The search window only shows a couple lines of it. Click on it so you can fully view it, and then all will become clear and you will find your promo code. πŸ™‚

          • I found it, but saw in one response that you were maybe going to give it Friday afternoon. I finally found it, but spent way too much time. Thanks for the oodles.

        • James, if you’ve gotten to where you are searching for the “d’ word, I suspect you’re not clicking on the last article in the search window here. Scroll down in the search window, and CLICK on the title of the article below “Oodletorial: How to Search” to fully open it. The search window only shows a couple lines of it. Open it all the way, and then all will become clear and you will find your promo code. πŸ™‚

        • I gave it a good try but still could not come up with the promo code…I feel so lostttttt. Is the promo code one word or 2? Please help me to get that oodle codes. Thanks

          • Hanson, click on the last article in the search window here. Scroll down in the search window, and CLICK on the title of the article below “Oodletorial: How to Search” to fully open it. The search window only shows a couple lines of it (it’s another Oodletorial). Open it all the way by clicking on the title, and then all will become clear and you will find your promo code. πŸ™‚

          • I finally got it!! I clicked on the wrong link the first time, but oh boy it was a good one. Thanks Angel. πŸ™‚

      • I STILL CANNOT FIND THE WORD FOR THE PROMOCODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT KEEPS TAKING ME BACK TO THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Well this is not worth the effort. I play enough and get plenty of oodles/tokens and don’t like this at all. I give up and won’t try this again. I have been going around in circles and don’t have the time to keep getting to the same place.

          • Ann, I take it you’ve gotten to the point where you are requested to search for the “D” word? When you look at the search page, click on the last article. You need to click on it to fully open it, as only a couple lines show in the search pages. Once you open the actual article, you will be able to clearly see the promo code!

          • did the d word and even MOV but I keep returning to here…as i expand the comments and look at the end of the 200+ replies

          • kistolizard, when you search for the “D” word, look at the search page, and click on the last article. You may need to scroll down a little to see it. It’s another Oodletorial under “Oodletorial: How to Search”. Click on it to fully open it, as only a couple lines show in the search pages. Once you open the actual article, you will be able to clearly see the promo code!

          • actually 3 articles … first is about the hunt 200+ replies
            2nd huuuum oddles searcd?

3rd is the One ! _The Oodletorial: Player Services_

          • Yeah, it’s three articles now.. not sure why unless it’s because enough people posted the “d” word on this post, but when I realized it this morning, I changed the instructions to “last article”

          • Melody, if you’ve gotten to where you are searching for the “d’ word, I suspect you’re not clicking on the last article in the search window here. Scroll down in the search window, and CLICK on the title of the article below “Oodletorial: How to Search” to fully open it. The search window only shows a couple lines of it. Open it all the way, and then all will become clear and you will find your promo code. πŸ™‚

        • fairytalechamp, read the full post. It says “the last article…” You’re clicking on the first article (don’t feel bad, though. I made the same mistake, at first).

    • “Ready to start? Look for the first clue HERE.” Click the link. A clue for what you need to do next is hidden in the post. It’s educational too, because the post explains how to search things on Player News.

    • You have to follow the direction on using the searching the “d” word and when you got that, make sure to read the other posts.
It’s easy once you figure out. Have Fun.
Thanks GSN angels for the 1000 oodles.

  1. Awesome! Thanks GSN!

Pay attention and READ through everything (like you should always be doing anyway) you won’t have any trouble.

    tldr: read whole post

      • It’s no use. I don’t get the point or what I’m suppose to do. I guess I am too dumb to play this game. Thanks anyway.

        • Nooo, you’re not too dumb! We’ll keep trying πŸ™‚ Click on this link: here. A clue is hidden in this article. Follow the directions of this clue to lead you to your promo code. There will be one more step after finding the clue to collect it. (hint, look for “scavenger hunt clue” in the article)

        • Hi Maria,
You are not dumb. Even a smart person can sometime be stuck with tricky games.
Just make sure to follow the clue on using the “d” word search.
And read the other post to the end.
Believe me you will go “Oh I got it”
          Good Luck.

          • Hi Carmen, I can help. What do you mean you’re going in circles? (can you tell me what you’ve done so far?)

          • I got to the “d” word then I looked ant the MVO who was Jim and from there I looked for Oodles as a search (sigh), then I searched hunt..

          • Carmen, if you got the “d” word you’re almost done! In the upper right-hand corner of http://playernews.gsn.com/ is a gray rectangle box that has a magnifying glass icon and the word “search” in it in light gray.

Type the “d” word into that box and then hit the “enter” key on your keyboard. Two articles will come up. One will be the “Oodletorial: How to Search” but under it is a different one.

Click on the one below “Oodletorial: How to Search” since you already know that one has the directions you’re already following. Then look in the body of the second article for the actual promo code.

  3. I’m new to gsn.com. I wanted to play the scavenger hunt, but I have no idea what a promo code looks like. It is letters? Numbers? A mixture of both?

    • Hi DebbieH you want to look for a clue to discover the promo code. Start by clicking here. A clue is hidden in this article. Follow the directions of this clue to lead you to your promo code. There will be one more step after finding the clue to collect it. The promo code will be all in caps and it will say it’s a promo code.

  4. Hi I am new here- but I LOVE the site and enjoy the games in the morning with my coffee.

I think people are CLICKING ON THE ICON WITH THE TREASURE CHEST FULL OF OODLES… I know, cause I did it at first, then the coffee kicked in and I realized I was looking for a CODE…

also, if you are an angel (and I suspect you are) the other comment about the FLASHING ads… my comment is this… I am not duped by them (even though there is a scare out there right now for IE users… my problem is they SHAKE at the EXACT RATE that causes me to have MIGRAINE headaches… this is something I am sure no one has considered… whenever and wherever I come across them I have to leave that site immediately or face the consequences of the headache. I would appreciate it if this site was only showing “gentle” ads that don’t flicker, shake or tremor…

Also, while I am begging…. would it be possible to have some small category of games that are not timed, not a competition and not “rushed” for us older folks? maybe that didn’t give you a very large token or oodles return, but that are enjoyable like a crossword puzzle, a jigsaw puzzle a non-timed word game. I have to leave this site (I know, sad, cause I don’t like to… to go to an unmentioned site to play a relaxing game or two.

Thanks for listening to an old guy rant- truly enjoy the site otherwise.

    RJG

    • RJGOSNELL, oooh, that could be! I think most people have it sorted out. If they don’t we’ll continue helping them. No Oodler left behind! I’ll also pass your feedback along about the ads. We’re not supposed to have flashing ones but I know they can slip through.

  5. I too am having problems opening the oodles treasure chests when they are showing, click and nothing happens , the flashing ads and may have won an iphone ads are a great distraction!! ruins the fun of playing as eyes always have to wander and can’t concentrate!! on the other hand I found the scavanger hunt promo, Thank you

  6. I figured it out after my 4th try. I slapped myself and said, “oh, I should have known that.” Not as hard as I thought. Don’t give up!!!

    • I’m so glad you got it! Yes, it’s not hard but it is different because it’s a new game we wanted to try. So it feels awkward working through it initially I think.

  7. Don’t know who came up with the idea for this scavenger hunt promo, but it was fun. I have to admit, at first i was going bonkers because after i typed the “D” word and got to the other articles, i was lost. I only saw a partial second article and was wondering why i couldn’t see more than a couple sentences, but then the antique light bulb came on in my head and clicked the article. And just like a magician says “presto” it was there. Thanks again for the fun game and 1000 oodles. GSN rocks!

ps. after seeing the different times you replied to posts, it doesn’t seem like you got much sleep; hope you make up for it tonight. We want a healthy, well rested Angel!

    • Thanks 2jellybeans! I created this one. It’s a good learning experience for me too, I can see where my wording tripped people up for future reference, and what seemed to help the most. πŸ™‚

  8. 2nd attempt to post.
    Found it. Thanks
Just have to wait till I get home to put it in using my Tablet. My computer @ wk won’t let me enter it or the others.
I think it also blocked me counting the 15 games of DINOMITE i JUST PLAYED during my lunch time. RATS !!!!

HAVE A GREAT AGFTERNOON Angel as well as everyone else.

    HAPPY HUNTING.

  9. THIS IS SO MUCH FUN. I love a good challenge. I hope I can find it and win! I received my first book today that I won with my Oodles. The book of the month. I am going to Texas to see my daughter. I am flying from San Francisco, California, to Dallas, Texas. I am going to read the book I won on the airplane. It looks like a lot of fun to read. Thanks GSN Angel and GSN. I will let you know how the book was when I get back in two weeks. I am sure I will love it.

      • I just found the Promo Code for the 1,000 OODLES. I read the comments everyone made with clues to find it. Thanks GSN for the book and the OOdles! Thanks GSN Angel for the congrats and well wishes.

        • Woohoo Susan! I edited some of my copy to hopefully make the directions a little more clear. First time learning curve on this for me too πŸ™‚

  10. GSNAngel-Thanks for such a creative Oodles opportunity! Not only was it fun and challenging but a great reminder/learning tool on using the search, finding past posts and other information to help with questions on GSN. I truly enjoyed the challenge.
    Sherry

  11. I entered the Scavenger Hunt phrase in the promo code and nothing happened. It didn’t tell me it was wrong or right NOTHING. How do I get my 1,000 Oodles?

  12. I Had so much trouble trying to figure out the promo code. That I am just going to give up. And I love puzzles, but to keep going back to the same topic. Every time I try to search, is driving me insane. Thanks for letting me play. But this is to much!!!!!!!!

    • ladyvi, are you able to search the “d” word? If so you’ll see TWO articles show in the search. Don’t click on the top one titled “Oodletorial: How to Search.” Click on the article below it. It’s ion the second article you’ll find your promo code.

  13. It took me a while to get it late last night or early this morning (whatever) to get it; I had to re-read it a few times but I finally got it and then wanted to kick myself. You will all get it, just don’t give up! Good luck to all!

    Shannon

    • Good for you Laura, I’ve tried for nearly two hours and the hunt just keeps kicking me out and I have not received anything – oh, surprise!!! – Can’t seem to get any help – so I give up – but, maybe I won’t buy anymore tokens in the future – can’t seem to get any answer to my plea for help

      • Hi Karen, I have answered you! If you searched the “d” word two articles show like this. The second article in the list has the promo code you’re looking for. Click on that, and read the article for the final clue. Don’t scroll down to player comments, the clue is hidden in plain sight in the article itself.

When entering the Promo Code on GSN, only enter the code itself. Do not include Promo Code in the words. If you’re pretty certain you’re doing it correctly and it’s still not working, please contact Player Services for account assistance. To contact them click on GSN Help at the top of the main http://www.gsn.com page. Be sure you’re logged on to your user name so you can see the contact link.

  14. I must be the stupidest oodlier in the bunch – I tried to enter the Promo Code but it gives me an “invalid” – I did try a few different codes so maybe this is the problem or maybe I am just too stupid to play this game!!

    • Hi Karen, you’re not stupid! If you searched the “d” word two articles show like this. The second article in the list has the promo code you’re looking for. Click on that, and read it for the final clue.

When entering the Promo Code on GSN, only enter the code itself. Do not include Promo Code in the words. • Hi Jackie, if you found the actual promo code go to My GSN and enter it in the box at the top of the page that says “enter promo code.” The promo code itself is all in capitol letters, so only enter that. Don’t preface it with “promo code” or anything.

  15. After this promo is over, could you please let any of us who just cannot under stand the correct promo code – what the code word was – can’t get any help from GSN support either – no matter what I do, the code says “invalid” and I never received my 1,000 oodles.

  16. got to the post. it’s in the second post? everything I click on keeps taking me back to the instructions to. Can I have a hint? I am not good at these either. I get messed up and don’t get a lot of points. Like all the finding the clovers and all that.

    • Hi Christy… this is the actual search window that comes up when you look for the “d” word. Under the top of the page where it says “Search Results for: there are two articles. Both are Oodletorials. Do not click on the first one titled “Oodletorial: How to Search.” Click on the Oodletorial below that, titled something else.. maybe about Player Services πŸ˜‰ …then read it to find the actual promo code. Don’t scroll down to player comments, the promo code is hidden in plain sight in the article itself.

When entering the Promo Code on GSN, only enter the code itself. Do not include Promo Code in the words. 17. This was the easiest 1000 oodles I’ve ever earned.Everyone is making this way to hard. Just follow Angels directions, easy peasy….

  18. I tried sooo many times with words in the paragraph and it keeps saying invalid code. I’m obviously missing something –Help!

  19. I have typed in the word “D”. I saw the 2 articles. The 2nd article is dated October 25, 2013 and is all of 2 sentences. Oodletorial: Player Services. that’s the name of the article I see. I have tried multiple guesses and I guess I’m stupid cuz nothing works!

      • yes – i just got off work and my mind was scrambled. My work revolves around the stock market and I guess it fried me today. I just figured it out and got my oodles! It was so obvious once I scrolled over the 2nd article “SLOWLY” with my mouse. Thanks!

      • Can you please walk me through this. I am new to this and don’t understand. I have used the “d” word and still don’t get anywhere.

        • Sure! When you search for the “D” word, look at the search page, and click on the last article. It’s another Oodletorial under “Oodletorial: How to Search”. Click on it to fully open it, as only a couple lines show in the search pages. Once you open the actual article, you will be able to clearly see the promo code!

  20. I have tried again today and still every word I have typed in comes up invalid. After I search the “d” word 2 articles come up and according to what I have read previously I should find the clue in the second article which is 2 or 3 sentences long. Believe me I have practically typed every single word on the promo code and every one is invalid. Maybe I am not authorised to play this game because of where I am from.

    • Maria, you’re almost at the end. Click on the second article to bring it up fully. The search window only shows a couple lines. Once you click on it, it will all become clear. πŸ™‚

  21. OMG!,,,, I finaly figured it out! I should of ate some choc. earlier..lol.
Thank you GSNANGEL and GSN for the game!

  22. I found it and thanks for my Oodles. If you can’t find it keep reading and you will understand it! GOOD LUCK!

  23. Hello can u redeem oodles all 3 days or only once. I redeem 1000 oodles yesterday and today I can’t get pass the D

  24. I am a gambler and I bet half my tokens we wont be playing another scavenger hunt anytime real soon. It was challenging, but really fun in the end. To my fellow oodlers, I feel your pain and frustration, but I am sure you can do it! Take your time and read the article. I messed up at first because I wanted to browse through it instead of reading it entirely. Good Luck.

  25. What an extremely creative way to earn oodles! I definitely prefer the scavenger hunt to the casino games (though the casino games are still a nice, easy way to earn oodles and I’d still play them without the oodles incentive) because I love knowing that I’ve EARNED my 1000 oodles. Cheers for more scavenger hunts in the future!!!

  26. I love that you guys did this hunt, its really not hard at all I found it within 5-10mins after reading the hints and searching for the “d” word!!!!!!!!!!! thanks again for the fun!!!!!!!!!!

  27. i was a little disappointed. i thought this was a 3 day scavenger hunt. the last one i was on we had to find 10 things. so when i logged on today to look for the next clue, i was kind of shocked when it said i was done. i’ve never been on a one item scavenger hunt. is there any way the next one could have maybe one a day or something.

    thanks for the oodles! moonfeather

  28. what is wrong with daily break I have not been credited with my 75 oodles for the past 2 days. I can not get to players to complain to them. what do I do now I know your games suck really bad now

    • Hi paulinenannie, you were credited yesterday. Today’s has not happened yet, but per the rules credits can take up to 48 hours, although that rarely happens.

  29. WOW I have never been so lost in my life…THANKS a 1000 oodles GSN ANGLE by reading your help to others I got it but only afterwards..truly a dum and dummer moment.YAY love ya gsn

  30. Really I keep on having to sing in. I don’t get it every time go to play bingo it lucks up about 5 times .why do I play I never get token for playing token games.

    • Hi Joseph, please contact Player Services for account assistance. They can investigate this for you. To contact them click on GSN Help at the top of the main http://www.gsn.com page. Be sure you’re logged on to your user name so you can see the contact link.
