Update: Recent Casino Game Issues

Over the weekend, some players experienced difficulties playing our casino games. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. The technical issues are fixed.

If you are still unable to play, below are general instructions on how to clear your browser and Flash player cache. Please note that the instructions may vary based on your specific browser version.

Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click Tools in the menu bar or click on the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window
  3. Click Internet Options
  4. Click the Delete… button under the “Browsing History” section
  5. Check “Temporary Internet files and website files” and “Cookies and website data” (check or check off other options if you choose)
  6. Click the Delete button (this could take a while if you have a lot of files and history)
  7. Click OK to close window
  8. Exit and re-launch the browser

Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click the Firefox tab (in orange) in the top left-hand corner of the window
  3. Click Options
  4. Click Privacy tab
  5. Click Clear your recent history link
  6. Check “Cookies” and “Cache”
  7. Click Clear Now (this could take a while if you have a lot of files and history)
  8. Click OK to close window
  9. Exit and re-launch the browser

Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the 3 horizontal lines icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click History
  5. Click “Clear browsing data…”
  6. Check “Cookies and other site and plug-in data” and “Cached images and files” (check or check off other options if you choose)
  7. Click Clear browsing data
  8. Close tab
  9. Exit and re-launch the browser

Safari:

  1. Open Safari
  2. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences > the Advanced tab
  3. Click Show Develop menu in menu bar
  4. Now from the menu bar click Develop >  Empty Caches

Lastly, to clear your Flash player cache please visit Adobe’s site:

  2. Great thought but…the instructions for the Adobe didn’t work out. I have Firefox and Windows 7, but the instructions did not match up? Obviously, I’m no whiz at the tech part-sometimes even the basics for some, make no sense to me and I don’t always know how to maneuver around it to do what I need to. Any further suggestions???

    Is this also the culprit to us not being able to get our daily tokens? I have not been able to collect them for 3 days now.

    And just one more thing, and this happens to me more than I’d like to say, I accidentally click spin before the winnings are added and I don’t receive them. Yesterday it was a little over 30,000 tokens! Is this also caused by the same thing? I do my best to keep everything cleared at all times, so I’m not sure that clearing the cache and history today will solve anything. We’ll see tho.

      The instructions to clear Adobe Flash player cache was provided by Adobe so you would need to find additional tips to clear your Flash Player cache on the Adobe website. You could try seeing if there is a contact up or help email there.

      The issues experienced over the weekend were not related to Daily Bonuses.

      I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by you clicked spin, the Daily Bonus doesn’t have a spinner. But when you have issues, such as not being credited, please please contact Player Services.   3. Thank you so much with your quick response to the daily token problem GSN was having a few days ago. Player services, and customer service took quick action and credited my account with the extra tokens. This was my first issue with any kind of problem, I have had with GSN. Really impressed with the way it was handled. Nice if all businesses where ran so smoothly. Thanks again, with warm ALOHA

BLESS YOU, BLESS YOU, BLESS YOU……… I was instructed on how to do this a very long time ago for a different site, completely forgot the steps to accomplish the above……. will do this for GSN on Facebook and perhaps that will resolve the problems I have playing on FB…… I LOVE GSN GAMES AND CHALLENGES, TOURNAMENTS, ETC……….   6. i tried to play on sunday and could not..tried to play again tonight and will not bring up a game…what the heck is going on with the website. You can’t even lose because no games will come up. Was kind of done with you before, but at least before I could play a game.

  7. Thank you so much for the link to clear the Flash cache! I’ve tried so often trying to find out the instructions for Windows 7…but have only found Windows 8 or others…none addressing Windows 7!! (Which is probably the same, but not wanting to chance ruining the system…would get frustrated searching, then give up!!!) Since reading a lot of other comments about Adobe’s confusing help, I know this will help others with Windows 7!

  9. Can everybody else play 777, Diamonds Royale, and WOF slots except me?

    Somebody please let me know if I’m the only one who still cannot play these 3 games — which just happen to be my 3 favorite games! I can play all the others just NOT THESE 3. I have done all the stuff (cleared my browser cache, cleaned my flash cache etc) and cannot get these 3 games to load. I even tried on a different computer in my home with a different operating system (one has Windows 8 the other has 7) and cannot play. I am still waiting on a follow up reply from Player Services.

    • bunbun I have trouble playing some of the games too but it seems to happen most when I play from Internet Explorer, regardless if I’m using Windows 7 on the laptop or 8 on the desktop. Not all the games are compatible with IE.

      • Thanks Angel & Coffeemachanic. I don’t use IE so that can’t be the problem. Oh well. I guess I’m the only house in the country who can’t play the games. Odd considering as how I’ve played them for months & months with no problem up until Friday.

      • Interesting, with Internet Explorer the daily break most of the time hangs after the first step. No trouble when I use Chrome. But then, with Chrome I can’t play Mystery P.I. and some other strategy games. No problem with IE

  10. I didn’t have any trouble playing Video Bingo Deluxe over the weekend. The only game I’ve had trouble with is Wheel Of Fortune for oodles. I am able to play Wheel of Fortune at WorldWinner.com but not at GSN.com for oodles. I haven’t been able to play it for about two months. I tried all of the above steps along with other browsers and still can’t play it. Even Player Services suggested another broswer and I still am unable to play WOF for oodles.

      • I know. I really want to play Wheel of Fortune for oodles. It would be good to be able to land on another oodles leaderboard everyday. Wheel of Fortune is a game I enjoyed playing here.

  11. Does anyone have problems with the deal or no deal just keep spinning and you have to go out of the gsn then back in to play again also the under water game?

    • Dennis I too have spinning issues with Deal or No Deal, Wheel of Fortune and Pirates Cove. Maybe other games but I gave up trying. It didnt start happening until today after I cleared all the history cookies etc. I contacted player service but if could be a while before I get anything from them.

    This isn’t working and quite frankly, it’s a bit awkward.
    We’ll try to fix it as soon as possible!

    I contacted player service but their response was it could take 3-4 days to respond. So much for the promo’s today unless you have any insight. Thanks

    • Hi Roberta, the game is in beta testing and as usual, is only randomly rolled out to about 10% of players. It comes and goes. Hopefully it will be available to all soon.

  13. I am not sure if I am the only one but I cleared the stuff like we were instructed and it worked for 1 day but I am having issues again with the casino games which is stopping me from doing the things to get daily oodles. Is it just me?

  14. I have also been having a lot of issues with games freezing, or keeps spinning, and spinning, until it says to reload the game. I like diamond royal slots, Cleopatra slots, and deal or no deal the most, and several other games. This has been going on for the last 3 months, up until then I wasn’t having these problems. I tried clearing the cache and that doesn’t help either.

  15. I have a Kindle fire HD, it uses “Silk” browser & the I instructions didn’t include it. I did try the link to Adobe flash player, but again does not include any help for Silk or how clear cache for this device. I have been playing GSN for months and can no longer play. I have tried everything I know to do & can’t seem to resolve this issue..

    • I’m sorry you’re having difficulties. You may want to try reaching out to Amazon, who should know the Silk browser and perhaps can assist you. Try this link.

    • Adobe stopped supporting Android devices (including the Kindle) a while back. In addition, the Kindle isn’t recognized on Google App Store, so you can only get apps from Amazon. There is a hack technique called “side loading,” but it’s fairly complex and unreliable. There is a GSN mobile app with many of the same games, but you can’t share tokens between the mobil and web versions anymore (Grrrr!), and you don’t get to talk to Angel (double Grrrr!. If you want to play on your tablet or phone, your options are the separate GSN moble app (which I’m doing) or buying an Apple device (Noooo!).

I have been useing my husbands email address but have now got my own but really sick that i cant carry over the coins i had built up also lost my dailychallenges is there anyway icsn get these coins carried over to my own email my husband has blocked mygameson his i pad so i cant even use that Help

  17. My wife has been playing on gsn for nearly a year now and this week’s problems have stopped her from playing at all.
    The recommended “fixes” aren’t relevant to android on her galaxy tab. I’ve run into this with flash before and am unable to resolve this one.
    I even flushed her info, to no avail. Last step available is to dump the app and have her reload and start over from scratch…

    • Hi Len, most of the games on the GSN.com site aren’t compatible with a tablet, only the ones that say “mobile & PC” in the lower right-hand corner on the Casino page. Examples would be Fruit Zen, Mr Vegas, Gypsy Rose Slots, Puppy Love, etc. Has she tried playing our mobile games instead?

  18. Is anyone else having a problem with the BetSoft games (the one’s with the extra control panel that many folks find confusing) losing their Audio for no apparent reason after a few minutes. I know this isn’t a big deal, but it’s kinda annoying. I don’t have this problem with the regular GSN games.
    BTW, I’m running Firefox on Windows 10.

  19. I have submitted 3 times the problem I am having. The game will connect, but no games. I seen where they were fixed, but still no games. I paid a gentleman to see what the problem was, and he said it was on your end. Let us know what is going on.

  21. I asked the same question about the Snowflake Sweeps a week ago, and never got a response. I warned about this type of discrimination before.

  22. When I first loaded wheel of fortune slots, it was fine. A few days later it wouldn’t load to play. Hasn’t loaded for weeks now on my iPad. What’s the problem?

    • Hi Cathy, the Wheel of Fortune games on GSN.com don’t work on mobile devices or tablets. Where you playing on Facebook possibly?

I recently have updated my GSN and I’ve never had a problem until this last update now I can’t get into my game I get as far as downloading assets and it doesn’t go any further I’ve tried force stopping it uninstalling it reinstalling it clearing all my cache and nothing is working the only thing different I noticed that it used to give me the option to go through Facebook and now it just says go through Google somebody please help me get back to my game I have billions in tokens and I’m not that clever when it comes to this part of Technology
