Bingo America – Important Update

We’ll be saying goodbye to Bingo America on September 16 so we can make room for new, fun games. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of bingo to go around. Hit the beach with Video Bingo Deluxe or try to land a GSN ChaChingo Bingo cash jackpot. Rodney R. from Lebanon, TX won $11,568 last month, and Herbert R. Fredricktown, MO won $5,100 this month! Play for free now. For those of you who have accumulated prize money that has not yet been paid out, we will follow up with you in the next few weeks.

  1. it really upsets me that there will no longer be bingo america!!!!i’ve met some wonderful people in there and now i won’t be able to chat and play along with them!!!!!!!!!!alot of us are disabled and we really could use the money if we happen to win.please reconsider this.as for me well it just won’t be as much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here. Besides ChaChingo Bingo, we also have daily $250 Sweepstakes, as well as gift cards and other exciting prizes in the http://www.gsn.com/prizes/list.html?view=sweepstakes“>Oodles Prize Center you can try for. GSN continues to have many opportunities for cash and prizes!

    • Hi Danhere, we announce new games as they come out, but right now we’re not aware of plans to bring back the old interactive model.

      • I know Dan mentions this a lot, but I would love the interactive games back too. I’ve gotten over them, but sometimes I get withdrawals.

The games when you could play along were so much fun, Match Game, Pyramid, Password, Chain Reaction, Family Feud, Whammy, Press Your Luck, etc etc. I could go on and on.

I understand at the time the interactive feature left, the activity on that declined. But since 2009 more people have registered thanks to Oodles, Tokens, and Cash Games perhaps.

I truly think the interactive games would do better now if you offered maybe OODLES & TOKENS as a reward for playing and/or getting on the iTV leaderboard.

I miss the old days of playing along witn my TV. Come on, please?

      • Angel, do you know if the new games will be for oodles or tokens? seems like there’s more token games then oodle games on gsn website.
any chance of gsn having a game similar to million second quiz that let people play online on on the cell along with the tv show.

  2. cant believe ur getting rid of bingo america its the only place i go 2 relax & enjoy myself bs ing with other folks on this gamesite i am terribly upset with this decision

    • Hi ed, I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here.

        • I totally agree, why can’t there be another third party to go through? This is totally bogus and breaks a lot of hearts. A lot of us are talking about going to another site you would lose a lot of gamers.

          • I’m very sorry you’re upset Kimberly, I do understand, but that’s not an option at this time.

          • It breaks my heart to know I can’t play Bingo America. I will miss all mdf’s. They have helped me through a lot of pain that has happened in my life. HUGS TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS (poescat). <3 you all.

  3. will miss this game…got so close but never made it……but liked the fact I did not have to pay for it

a fond farewell come back soon

  4. On March 8, 2013, I hit on America Bingo an I did not receive my check for 25.00. And until this day, I have yet to receive it and now you all are quitting this game. So will I ever get my check?

    • Hi Lea, you were sent a confirmation email on 3/12 you never replied to, which you needed to do to get your check. I suspect it went into your spam folder. I’ve asked Player Services to resend it. Please be sure to check your spam folder so you can respond. You should find it in the next day or two.

  5. If you are closing Bingo America on Sept. 16, you will also be closing my
playing in your Gamerooms. You done this onece before and it really cut
down on people and your business so good-by GSN. I’ve been playing in here for many years not my loss, but yours…

    • Video Bingo can be fun if you are into doing the loner thing. Bingo America wasn’t as much about the prize but about the friends we made in chat. I will miss all my friends-and yes they are my friends-in chat. No more trading recipes, ideas or just having fun joking around. I’m not happy about this but it is not unexpected. GSN has been trying to shut it down for over a year now. That’s why so many of my friends have stopped coming to GSN.

      • aeropath, I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here.

  6. Your cancelling Bingo America!!!! I only recently discovered that I could even play this game and now your taking it away! !! I am completely appalled at what is going on at this site! When this game is done – I’m done!! My suggestion is to get rid of Cha – Chingo. No one likes it , too boring and way too hard to win anything on it!

  7. So, is it because you guys don’t want to pay out the $25 twice daily anymore? It was a lot of fun when it used to get hit at lower amounts and you had to accumulate it. The games replacing them are probably not going to be ones you can play for free but win real $ either? So we went from being able to win multiple times a day in here, to only two winners a day (three if we are lucky) to now being lucky to a once a month cash prize? Sounds like we have gotten overly greedy. I hope you guys understand that this game was most peoples main reason for coming to this site, and you will lose a lot of players? But I guess that wont matter, savings of $50-$75 per day verses one winner of roughly $1000 per month equaling roughly $33 a day. Oh well! Good luck!

    • Patti, I’m sorry you’re unhappy to see the game go. We understand you really enjoyed it. It’s not about money though. GSN pays out thousands a week, but we used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them. We do have Cash Games if you’re interested in playing for cash, and ChaChingo Bingo has easily paid out more than $1,000 a month on average. We also have daily $250 Sweepstakes, as well as gift cards and other exciting prizes in the Oodles Prize Center you can try for. GSN continues to have many opportunities for cash and prizes!

  8. Wow, I’ve been playing bingo about 4 years; the changes in the game over the last 2 years has really hurt the popularity of the game, but I and a bunch of friends have stuck it out–but now we will have no way of talking with each other. Gamesville’s changes have made many leave that site completely and I’m sure there will be many that won’t play in GSN anymore too. All good things have to end, really disappointed in this good thing ending.

    • I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here.

  9. I also will miss Bingo America the only game, other than Cha-Chingo, on the non-cash site where you can win CASH…I understand how some people feel Cha-Chingo is boring but where else do you have 24 chances a day for free to win such a large amount…I think of Cha-Chingo like my free pick 5 lottery where I get to play 24 times a day and don’t even have to spend a dollar…True it may not be as much as the pick 5 lotto (depending on state) but its free and you get way more plays per day…

Any game where you can win cash without betting cash is a plus maybe GSN can find us a new cash game to take Bingo Americas place…

  10. I liked Bingo America and have won once which I think is tough. I LOVE ChaChingo there I feel you have a better chance of wining big bucks. We all have our favorites and we need to try other thing and it’s all about having a good time and to relax.

  11. what will we have to look forward too now gamesville xash game gone and now gsn oh well thanks for the 6 years we shared gonna miss BINGO AMERICA!!!!!

  12. I really did like Bingo America. I met a lot of nice people on this site and now you are closing it ?Why can’t you just leave things alone when they are good. Your Video Bingo is fun, but no one to chat with. Everyone likes to win a little cash once in awhile.

    • I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here. We do have http://www.gsn.com/games/“>Cash Games if you’re interested in playing for cash.

  13. So sorry that one of my favorite game is going, but i figure that since bingozone got rid of its cash games, this site will follow next…..love both site and will continue to support cha-chingo

  14. I was playing at Gamesville for the longest time than it went off,
Now here at Bingo America I figured you all would not be here very long either.
Listen, I did not chat much, but all the people on chat were so close and warming to me.
I will miss all of them dearly! I’m very sad as I feel like I had a lot of friends on chat who cared about me. Farewell Bingo America

  15. I just recently discovered Bingo America. I think it’s fun. Sad to see it go, but anxious to see what new games come along.

I’d love to see even more slot game choices…especially the ones with bonus games in them.

    Keep making it fun, GSN!

  16. Bingo America was the main reason that I played on this site. So sorry to see it go. Guess we all saw it coming. Back in the ‘good ole days; when people could win even small amounts it was great. Then you changed it so that we had to wait until it got to $25.00. the next change was gradual, once it got to $25.00 it was hours until someone won (up to 12 hours). Then you took our room (Bar Harbor) away. So there were hints that the money was going away. We sure enjoyed the chat box while we waited for a winner, back in the beginning before we could predict what time there would be one. I also have noticed that the TV show is going down hill, so I’m wondering if you are losing advertising??? I am of course disappointed, but I’m sure we will find something to replace it, By the way, neither of the “bingo” games have a chat box. Goodbye to Bingo.

    • I’m sorry you’ll miss your friends. We do have an open chatroom from 3-6pm ET M-F if you and your friends would like to check it out here. GSN is doing fine, but we used a third-party to power Bingo America, and we’re no longer working with them.

  17. Too bad us poor folk lose, we can not afford to pay to win or play, video bingo is confusing and what do you win? more tokens? It was bad enough that only 2 people would win per day but no more bingo america is worse

  18. this game has been goin’ downhill for the last 2 years. ever since the winnin’ format was changed (like judy denney explained). CCB (chachingobingo) stinks & is borin’. bring back the previous game (i think it was bingo zone). anyway, time to move on and don’t put up that automated site tellin’ me about chat from 3-6. that’s what you do best—-auto messages & form letters (emails). GSN has also been goin’ downhill the last 2 years.

    • jcc48, the game was run by a third party we’re not going to be working with anymore. The formats were not up to us. None of the replies on Player News are automated (including the chat suggestion), this is me. :)

  19. liked the game but enjoyed the chat room more then the game. Got to meet many people. We were able to laugh & share each others problems.

  20. Just wanted to say, I am also sorry to see Bingo America go. First Gamesville, stops its payouts for Bingo and now this site. I don’t know about the others, but the gift cards don’t really interest me. I would prefer that cash to help pay bills. Will the new games pay out cash also or just tokens and oodles, that don’t really do anything for us? It seems all the good, fun games go away. I always thought that your games were to be related to some of the games on your tv show and allow us the opportunity to “win at home”, guess that is not true. Also a great way to meet others and chat. Also 3-6 is not a realistic time for chat, how many people would really be online at that time? Hope you listen to your members.

    • Hi Jacqueline, Bingo America was originally based on the TV show that ran a few years ago. I’m not sure what new games are coming, but even if you aren’t interested in gift cards, we have a Daily $250 Sweepstakes in the Oodles Prize Center, as well as ChaChingo Bingo that draws hourly for cash jackpots. The chat room is one we already have in place, I just put it out there as an alternative for chat.

  21. Wow.. This is very disappointing. I love bingo america! So many friends like to meet up there to chat and play. This is really not good news at all.

  22. There were lots of players in Bingo America- lots of us watching the sponsor’s ads for hours- so that is the only 3rd party vendor there is? You just showed us pictures of how smart the GSN team is, can’t we keep a bingo cash game- generated by your team??

  23. I still have two checks I’ve yet to cash. Will they still be honored after the 16th? Thanks GSN for many good times while playing Bingo America. I’ve not only won cash but better yet have won good friends along the way.

  24. I assume bingo is gone, as it is not available under games now. Just wish we had known the time so we could have all played up to the last game. Been good to chat with friends in Bingo rooms. But seems that you do not care what we players think……GL

    • Hi memaw, we care very much what players think which is why we gave a head’s up on the game going away, but there wasn’t a specific time I could give.

  25. WOW I was away, but a 5 day notice, and it’s gone? I spent many an hour trying to win, some people I know have had money “on the books” for a while trying to get to the $25.- I hope that will be paid soon.
I also hope that GSN will come up with a similar free replacement for so many of us who are sad about this!
Thanks for passing that on.. . .

  26. bingo America was a way of life not just a game-we bent an ear to friends problems and cared for and prayed with them in times of health concerns-we felt joy as friends became closer and met -some of us even found life time relationships here-you keep speaking of chachingo-oh brother one game an hour set and look at timer count down–no chat nothing for 59 more minutes-how fun is this? get real

  27. 24 chances in chachingo huh? I wonder if yall work or sleep sometimes or do you REALLY pick your numbers every hour?? Chances are way to slim that you will win that game, heck have 1 dang number right would be nice.

  28. I am crying from a broken heart over losing Bingo America. My dear friends there helped me through a lot of heart ache. I love mdfs. I played there mostly just to chat with my dear friends. I was not really interested in winning. it was all about talking to my friends, but when I did win it was nice. I will miss them all so much. Wish you would reconsider and bring Bingo America back.

    • I’m very sorry poescat *hugs* I do understand the friendship connection very much. I’m afraid it’s not possible to bring back Bingo America, but perhaps some of your friends might be hanging out on the GSN Games Facebook page? It might be worth taking a look.
